Day 7, LexPoMo 2020

lexpomo2018Sundays are usually my day off from everything remotely work-like, and I pretty much expected I would not write or post today. And then this idea popped into my head. As my grandmother always used to say, There’s no rest for the wicked.

  1. Tiger just put her head on the keyboard, sorry! She’s very clingy and doesn’t feel well. I was going to say I understand that poem a little too well!

    • Poor Tiger – I hope she feels better soon. I’m glad she found a way to make sure you told me she was helping you work. 😉
And I hope we will all learn how to breathe again — together.

      • She’s getting an ultrasound right now and I am curbside. Poor baby.

        • Fingers crossed you get good (or at least helpful) news. ❤

        • Thanks, Jennifer. No findings at all, and then I sprang for a chest xray, too. I said no at the biopsy of her intestines! She’s 16 and tiny. By ruling stuff out, the vet thinks she has either some form of irritable bowel OR lymphoma of the intestines. Going to treat her tummy ache and think about steroids for the irritable bowel, but she has kidney disease, with one kidney larger than it should be and one smaller, so I am a little reluctant about that. The main thing is to make her keep eating. Weirdly, this vet and her regular vet both think her physical exam is good–she appears healthy for her age.

        • Sixteen! Well, here’s hoping you are soon able to make her comfortable again, whatever is going on with her tiny innards.
