About me

So many hats! So few heads!

I am a community builder, a writer, an editor, an avid gardener, an enthusiastic parent, a perpetual student, and the primary care giver for a rescued black Labrador/terrier mix (looks like Anubis, acts like a love-puppy) and an extroverted orange tabby tuxedo cat with ADD.

I participate in writers groups, gardening groups, and irreverent Bible studies.

I like tea, Turkish coffee, and very dark chocolate.

Other interests include crochet, reading, yoga, and tarot.

And if ya want it on your blog – which you might not.

If you do want it, I award it to ya! Please link it back to http://tammyvitale.com tho!

I accept, grinning with delight and blushing with gratitude. I’m not good enuf to know how to do it either, but now I’m REALLY motivated to figure it out! (I’ll tell you how when I do.)

      Thank you! 🙂

  2. Thanks for visiting my blog today. I’m loving reading yours. I’ll be back.

The Yukon Gold latkes were wonderful; I’m thinking about trying it with sweet potatoes next…

Thanks for the inspiration, and for stopping by!

  3. I’ve got some bad news. Odds are good that I’ll be moving to Florida “sometime soon”, so I will need my movie back. Get back to me and let’s arrange something.

That IS bad news, at least as far as my anime watching goes! I hope it’s good news for you, though. I’ll send you an e-mail and we can coordinate the return of your DVDs.

  4. Andrew Cole told me about your writers groups. Could you send me a link where I could learn more about when you meet and what is in involved? I have an idea for a book and would like to meet others who have the same goals…

  5. Jennifer, thanks for your comment on defending our work as writers. We work so hard on finding the right words, sentences, and paragraphs. Then we weave them together in a structured manner, hopefully for an interesting read.

I’ve visited your critique group once before. Enjoyed the group. Hope to visit again, soon.

    Talk with you later,

Writing IS hard work, even for those to whom it seems to come easily. I like Stephen King’s suggestion that we should put our finished work in a drawer for at least six months before revising it or asking someone else to look at it. We’re sure to be invested in another project by that time, which allows us to be a bit more objective about the work and less sensitive (and reactive) to criticism.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, and I hope to see you at the writers group again one of these days!

Love the way you spelled it…This little snippet is what made me want to visit your blog. *smiles* 🙂

    • I’m delighted that my lame approximation of cat speak tickled your fancy. Thank you so much for stopping by and for taking the time to comment. (As a fellow blogger, I know you appreciate how much I look forward to comments.) 🙂

    FIVE SUPER SWEET QUESTIONS
    1. Cookies or Cake? Both?

    • Many thanks for this nomination! I happily accept, and beg indulgence of a few days to fulfill my obligations — the kids’ summer camp schedule has left me rather backlogged, but I *will* catch up. 🙂
