Mother’s Day truth

What does every mother want? She wants her child to be safe and happy. This is not a constant desire, every moment of every day, seven days a week, but at least once, between the hour she first knows she’s pregnant and the moment of her last breath, that is what she wants.

  1. This is so true, Jennifer. You have described a mother’s heart for her children perfectly. Blessings to you…

    • I can’t help but believe that even the “worst” mother has, at some unguarded moment, this desire. It may be in her own childhood, long before she has a child, or many years after things have turned out otherwise. We all want safety and happiness for ourselves, and I firmly believe we all want that for at least one other person in our time on this earth, even if only for a few fleeting seconds.
Thank you for your comment and blessing, and may this day be blessed for you today as well.
